I think that this is the first genuinely good application I've seen come through in a very long time. He seems to have the experience of GMing, seems to know what he wants to do in this game and, most importantly of all, can actually write coherently. He gets my vote for going through to the second round. Bye for now, Nick -- Karen J. I would like to submit an application for my PBeM, for consideration into your group. It looks like you have a varied bunch of PBeMs here and I believe that my PBeM is quite different from the ones you have listed. As far as my experience in PBeMs goes, I've been roleplaying online for about four years now. I've GMed three games (including this one); two of them were Star Trek PBeMs, the USS Horizon and the USS Nova. I've also played in numerous games including a sci-fi X-Files-style RPG which was based around the lives of a few people in a small west coast American town (the name escapes me, unfortunately) and a couple fantasy ones although they didn't last for very long. Most of my PBeM experience lies in the Star Trek genre, where I've roleplayed in various RPGs (both group affiliated and non-affiliated alike) and I'm currently the AGM of the USS Magellan http://www3.sympatico.ca/darkcore/magellan ). Here is the PBeM blurb: Sixteen PBeM RPG Sterling, Missouri -- the epitome of Smalltown, USA. You're greeted by a beautiful tree-lined main street, with various shops ranging from hardware stores to hairdressers on both sides. Seemingly friendly people smile at you, without a care in the world. You might even bump into your Calculus teacher at the local coffee shop. It's the perfect place to live. Except for one thing. You've never felt so alone in your whole life. You feel like everything's falling apart, that you have nowhere to go, that you're in Hell on Earth. So much for perfect. Welcome Home. Sixteen revolves around the teen-angst filled lives of a group of teenagers who, despite their varied problems and issues, have at least one thing in common - - the need for friendship and love. (The homepage can be found at: http://www.altern.org/darkcore) (If this does not fit the type of blurb you are looking for, please let me know and I can change it.) Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear from you. Take care, Scott (GM) Seth Coolidge, Sixteen PBeM http://www.altern.org/darkcore -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
