Discussion, mostly technical, about running Phoenyx groups goes here. Hypotheticals and wishlists go in stakeholders.

PBEMTools

> did anyone go out to Alan's site and see what pbemtools does?

I had looked at pbemtools some time ago (I think a year or so ago), but
didn't think they'd help me much. Plus they were in Perl, and I just
wasn't up for finding, downloading, and installing the required
software. Having the Phoenyx do it automatically definitely adds to the
appeal of them, but I'm still not sure...

I've been manually assembling "GM text" archives for the Westwind games.
It doesn't take long, really, and it gives me the opportunity to run
over all the storyline again from time to time, which helps. I suspect
Oasis is probably just under the size where something like pbemtools
would be useful for archive purposes. A more active game would
definitely make them a candidate.

Anybody else use them, or plan to try them?
