[admin] ADSL issues (fwd)

SouthWind believes they've got the problem fixed. Now to wait and see
what happens.

Subject: ADSL issues

Hi, I'm writing this to all of the ADSL customers that have reported problems
over the last several weeks with their ADSL connection.

Friday morning, October 27, I was able to finally successfully install a
new version of the operating system on the router that works with all of the
different things that router is intended to do. At this point the ADSL
service appears to be working at least as well as it was. I hope, however,
that it works better and solves the problem that we have been seeing. Please
let me know if you notice any difference, both good or bad.

I do apologize for the inconvenience this problem has caused. There were
many stumbling blocks along the way to a solution, but hopefully we
are closer than we were. Thanks for your patience.
