I'm going to take firebird (the Phoenyx main server) down this Sunday afternoon between 13:00 and 16:00 CDT to install a memory card we received a few weeks ago and a tape backup drive I bought off eBay. No software changes at this point, so it should be a simple take-it-down, plug-stuff-in, boot-it-up operation and I expect to be down for less than half-an-hour if all goes well, but we could be off-line for longer than that. (That's all Phoenyx services.) As long as we aren't offline for more than four hours, all mail delivery should be handled without a hiccup... it will be queued on the sending server without errors reported to the user and sent through to us when our server comes back up. Btw: It's not on our wishlist, but if you have any spare Travan TR-4 tapes you'd like to give away, the darn things are twenty-five bucks apiece new and I could use a few more to handle a proper rotation, off-site backup, etc. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
