Ricardo wakes up to the buzz of his alarm. He rolls to his feet, 
groaning a little...lotta work yesterday. After a quick shower, he's 
dressed and heads into the galley.

First priority is a big pot of kaffe, followed by some food. If he's 
first in the galley he'll make a pan of scrambled eggs, cheese, 
pototatoes, sausage, peppers, etc. slap some on a flour tortilla, toss 
on some hot sauce...mmm...breakfast of champions...

Otherwise he'll eat whatever the first person in has made.

As people trickle into the galley Ricardo finds out:

1) Did all the cargo we were expecting come in and get loaded?

2) Are we ready for passengers?

3) All the supplies in? There had better be beersi!

After breakfast, Ricardo will tell Shawn "Well, lets you and I do a 
preflight walkthrough and walkaround of the ship. You start at the 
stern, I'll start at the bow. Then we'll compare notes at the end. Take 
Jezebel with to train her on preflighting. I'll take Ukanav, this way 
both of them will get at least one onceover the ship before we lift."

"Anyone else have anything needing my attention?"

"The rest see to your crew stations and your own stuff. We take on 
passengers' cargo at 1300, passengers at 1400 to 1500. I hope to lift by 
1600..."

Do we have any customs or control items?

I figure the preflight will take a couple, three hours, leaving time for 
lunch, perhaps a quick nap, shower and change into the monkey suit to 
greet passengers.

Jezebel wakes up, face down in the sofa in the starboard side crew lounge,
its early but she can still smell breakfast cooking.  Her neck is stiff from
sleeping in an un-natural position and for some reason the flow of blood
beyond her right shoulder seems to have come to a complete halt.

She looks about for a moment running a hand through her hair trying to
figure out exactly where she is at this morning.  Jezebel glances at her
watch, "Tuesday, this must be Belgium."

With a yawn she gets up and heads slowly into her cabin on the other side of
the couch, a quick ten minute shower and everything is right as rain.
*ew...  rain,* she thinks, *best not to go there for a while.*

Ten minutes after that she arrives in the crew mess dressed in her khaki
pants and a black and grey camo t-shirt.

"I have to admit." Jezebel says somewhat sheepishly, "that this is really
the first time I've actually had to look for things on a starship.  I mean I
used to guard them and I know how to get on and off them in a hurry but
beyond that my own experiences aboard ship are rather limited."

memory, no matter how often we do it."

Shawn stopped in engineering and picked up two of the pre-flight check
lists and handed one to Jez.

"I'll run down the list as we go and tell you what were looking at,
what we want to see, and let you know if I spot any discrepancy. Sound
good?"

There is a good good stock of Beersi, and an extra stock of the spicey vargr
(and woof) preferred style.  All sorts of alcoholic beverages have been
stocked (and restocked).  Woof is prepared even for a cash bar, once the
mid-pax go over their limit...  ;-)

And he's a good bar-tender.
 
"Standing by to receive the rest of the supplies.  Chandlers are going to be
delivering this morning.  The medical supply company is coming @ 0930, and
I've left a message on Mira's box on that.  I'll handle the chandlers and
assist Mira with her supplies, along with any final cargo loading and be
ready for the PAX.  Busy, but hey, that's what life's about right?"

annoying yet important questions as possible all the while maintaining a

"Morning Shawn, Ma'am." the Engineer nods to you and the man you are with. You stop and think a minute...his name is Kelly something. You can't remember if the two of you were ever officially introduced or not. He's been busy back in Engineering and other than just seeing him in passing haven't really interacted with him.

After leaving Engineering, Shawn says...

Yes.

No, almost all, but the rest are scheduled to be here by 0900. Can't speak for the beersi, but Ukanav assures you there is a good stock of wine aboard.

Cory gathers the crews laundry then starts it except for Anspor's which he 
takes out on the flight deck to hose down first. He'll then check the comm 
against the sensors before picking up the laundry and ensuring all "uniforms" 
and his cloths are stain free. He double checks Anspor's and Kelly's for 
tears and snags. He'll then return everyone but Anspor's to them. 

He'll take a few minutes to decide on back ground music for the passengers 
(as long as he can get away with) and call (I can't remember her name Eris) 
to tell about lift off and ask if she's got any songs she'd like to test on 
the passengers on the way back. Lastly Anspor gets his uniform about 5 
minutes before the passengers start showing but after lunch.
