Father in E,F or G, triple up in C and D (6 players), give senior team
member a single in one of the small, and double up in the remaining one
for the ball team. Whew! Packing 'em in!

After Jezebel has spent her morning following Shawn about doing the
pre-flight checks she heads to her quarters and changes into Lysia.

The unorganized hair is quickly pulled back behind her ears and held in
place with a single organically shaped silver clasp, a long thin spike of
polished titanium pierces the clasp. The khakis and tank top are replace
with a black silk Vhztata pant suit, and white shimmer weave blouse. The
combat boots vanish under her bunk and a pair of black suede Makhi shoes
appear. With two coats of steel blue nail polish and a hint of eye liner
she emerges from her quarters, a smile on her face and a sense of purpose in
her step.

Lysia hooks her little com system in behind her right ear and heads towards
the bridge looking for Woof, Shawn or Ricardo.

Ricardo, who has come to the bridge to confer with Shawn about the
preflight and preparations on the bridge, turns and says "All right,
stop right there! Who are you and what did you do with Jezebel?" He
grins "Looking for something to do?"

"I figured," Lysia says with a smile as she looks about the room, "since we're headed back to Mark I might as well spend a week getting used to the idea I'll be Lysia again."

She pushes a few loose strands of hair back absently, "I thought that as we're going to have passangers I might as well go make myself useful."

A thin smile crosses her lips as she counts on her fingers, "I'm fluent in galanglic, (what is the offical language name?) vargr, including a couple of local dialiects and zerustri. I've got a winning smile a positive attitude and I'm great with people. I mean providing I'm not related to them and don't have to kick their asses."

"Well, since we're going to Mark and we're likely to meet my sister and her
whole circle of friends you may as well get used to calling me Lysia." She
grins and drums her nails on the hard plastic of a workstation.

"For some unknown reason my sister seems to think it is terribly, terribly
unrefined to have a 'Jezebel' in her family." She shrugs a shoulder and
winks, "God only knows why I mean I've been nothing but a perfect little

"Either will work just fine."

Lysia / Jezebel looks about at the control room carefully. "What sort of
security precautions do we have to keep unwanted guests out of this room? I
mean if they really wanted in and we really wanted to keep them out?"

OOC> Well the captain was spring spring cleaning which meant that the
computer was buried all weekend. so I'm a huge number of posts behind...

Ricardo says "well, we keep the passengers off this deck, in general,
the bridge door's locked while in transit, keyed only to our palm
prionts, and we've got anti-hijack programs running on the systems."

He adds "And we keep our eyes open."

Because of the way the orbits of the binary system is set up, Shanw is plotting an entry point at Mark near one of it's gas giants and that is going to make the trip inbound a little long, but not terribly so.

It will be 6 hours out to the jump point here at Sequi, roughly 168 hours in jump, and then 21 hours in from the gas giant to Mark's mainworld. Your best estimate, from lift off to landing is between 191 to 199 hours...or roughly 8 days.

He looked at his plot. "Just short of 200 hours. Look not at me for
fault, Horatio. Blame the stars."

Woof spreads the passengers across the rooms. He pencils in the father in
stateroom C, keeping the passengers that aren't football related together,
and the team, 3 in D, and 2 in each of the others. Should there be another
addition, then we can add a mid-passage to the father's cabin. Failing
that, he gets a bit more space...

He then goes to Ricardo. "Ricardo, I've got the pax layout. Unless you
want to be chopping that, I'll just place them as I've planned. Uh, I heard
we're going to be picking up a couple more crew as I understand the rumors
(this might be player knowledge). I hate to bring it up, but do you want me
to plan on billeting one of them in the bunk rooms or should I maybe move
either Martan or Jered's stuff into storage and give them one of the bigger
staterooms?"

Lysia / Jezebel blinks from her chair looking carefully at Mira, "Let me get this straight, you have a game you play that involves varying gravity?"

She shakes her head pulling at the length of hair that curls down around the edge of her face. "You spacers are crazy."

Lysia looks over at Woof, "Do we search passanger bags, scan them anything like that when they come aboard?"

"Morning, Lysia. Yes. We run them all through the metal and explosives
detectors. We usually used the port's detectors, cause highly sensitive
ones are very expensive, but Akus had a portable one too. You never know.

"All weapons are secured in either locked containers (and locked in cargo
containers in the hold) or secured in the ship's armory. That goes for
knives too.

"Ship reserves the right to search all items, confiscate whatever we feel is
not safe, to be returned upon debarkation, room searches under captain's
orders... etc. etc. etc. All the standard fine print that is
holographically sealed in the tickets."

"You want to help? Mira volunteered a little earlier." He hopes he didn't
misunderstand her.

Lysia grins a little and looks at Shawn and Ricardo, "Now THAT, fills me with confidence."

She looks back at Woof, "You can never have to many ambasadors of good will for an undertaking of this magnitude."

"I thought I did," he says, seeing the look, "but I'm not sure now," he

Mae Lee: 0997.263 -- Anspor dressing

Cory stops by his room picks up Anspor's cloths and a box of hand wipes then
thinks better of it and picks up a second box just in case before heading off
to find him. He'll head to engineering figuring Kelly knows where he is and
then off to the cargo bay ...

Just as Cory gets to engineering he remembers watching Anspor eat and turns
back to the galley to pick up a sandwich in the hope of forstalling the
mustard stains. All prepared he sets out on his mission.

"Ah there you are" Cory says with a bright smile.

"I've been looking all over for you. I've got your uniform all pressed and
ready." He says handing Anspor the sandwich. "This should hold you over till
after we make it to orbit. You know Mira almost slept the day away. So what
do you think of the music? Don't you find it intense. You know the kind that
makes your toe tap rock you into focus. I know what you're thinking. I
thought the same thing. The subharmonics of the base line gets a little
absorbed by the overstuffed couches on the passenger deck but I've yet to get
the real feel of the ship. Oh yes especially that lower third, MMM." he adds
shaking his head.

Once the sandwich is inhaled he comments as he reaches for the dirty paws
hand wipe ready "Dont' want to get the clean cloths dirty. You think covers
on the cushions would help. No I think maybe another speaker beside the main
airlock but I don't think that would help much unless we replaced the floor
with a good hard wood. You know maybe we could put in a floating floor but it
would need to have some texture to it so we didn't generate echos."

Cory finds Anspor in Engineering working on a compressor for one
of the life support systems. He has it taken apart and is sitting
amist the parts cleaning them with chemical solvent. There are
grease and, other undefinable stains on his jumpsuit.

Kelly is at the computer terminal doing something and sees Cory
come in with the hanger of clothes held in one hand, two boxes of
hand wipes under his arm and a sandwish in the other hand.

Anspor blinks up a Cory and says, "What mu...oh, there is music."

Kelly notices that there is soft music playing over the ship's
intercom system for the first time as well. There didn't use to
be music...when did *that* happen?"

"Wait a minute!" Anspor says, "I've got to finish my work here,
and I don't need a clean jumpsuit. The one I've got on is
perfectly good for what I'm doing!"

Anspor looks over at Kelly for support, "Right Chief?"

"How long will that be?" Cory asks but adds before he's answered "I'd hate
for the passengers to see you like that. One of them could have connections
to the hygiene inspection office and we'd hate for them to get involved. You

Kelly nods absently, obviously caught up in his work. "Yeah, sure. That
sounds like a good idea." He taps in a command, and makes a satisfied
sound at the resulting display.

It's located back here in Aft Engineering in one of the storage lockers. The part goes into a console located forward of the Bridge in the Bow Engineering space.

OOC: Before you answer *this* though, read the next email...
