"Hey, Chief!" Kelly hears the deep voice of Arvitis coming from just outside the hatch, as he glances over he sees the large man filling the open hatch.

"I scrounged that part out of the Ship's Boat." he holds up a black rectanglar package in his large right hand, "The sensors in that thing aren't going to work until we can replace the phased array on its hull anyway. I'll take it up front and get the PEMS up there put back together."

Kelly smiles broadly. "Outstanding! That's what I like to see, some 
initiative and innovative problem solving. Would you like some help 
with the repair?"

"No, you're busy with getting the engines going. It won't take me a minute to plug this sucker into the box." Arvitis says, "Oh, but you ought to put a couple of these on your shopping list seeing as the ship and the boat both use them."
