You don't see a cab stand, but there is what looks like a
bus stop down the street to your right.  This will take you
past a fenced lot with boats and boat parts in it, the back
of a hanger, and a large warehouse on this side of the
street.  On the other side you can see the tarmac between
two large warehouses.  

As Ilane and April walk toward the bus stop they hear a loud
thrumming and looking up see a starship easing down on its
grav drives toward the tarmac.  It looks like about 400
dtons with stubby wings.  The ship passes behind the
warehouses and you hear it's wheels on the runway. 

Reaching the bus stop you find two vargr waiting.  They are
dressed in gray jumpsuits with Sharkwell written on them.
Both have brightly colored bandannas around their necks.
They are talking animatedly together in their native tongue.

April can get the gest of the conversation. The one on the right is telling the other about a #### club in Startown that has great ##### and spiced wine. The other wants to go to the backroom of the Plugged Nickle to gamble instead of to #### to fight. The first says the second is a ##### puppy. The second sends a mock growl and baring of teeth at the first and they both bark with laughter.

Ilane doesn't speak Vargr, but she notices that the two Vargr are animated and one appears ready to attack the other.

The two vargr take notice of April and Ilane and give them
nods and what look more like smiles than anything else.

"Hello siannas.  You new here?" one of the vargr says to the
two women, "Not seen you here before."

Ilane notices another two people, both men, walking toward
the bus stop.  They are also wearing jumpsuits, but these
have McCall's Boats written on an oval patch above their
right chest pocket. 

"Kankin!" one of the men calls out in a friendly fashion as
he approaches, "Don't tell me old Sharky is letting you guys
out of the compound this time of day?"

The vargr that didn't speak to April and Ilane turns his
head and shouts back at the men, "Better to work for a shark
than a smelly fart!" then breaks out in barks of laughter.

"Sorry siannas." the other human says, "Watch your language
boys we have ladies present."

The two men look to be about 30. One is tall and blonde, the other is average sized and dark haired. Neither would make you forget Dirk Savage, but their looks won't scare small children either.

Ilane looks at April, then back at the men.  She smiles.  "Sure.  A beersi would

"We go to a little spacer bar in Startown called The Plugged
Nozzle.  It's not swanky, but it's a nice place for a drink
and a bite to eat." the tall blonde says, "I'm Tony, by the

One of the vargr says, "Sounds good to me!  A big party at

As you are speaking a large ground vehicle, a bus, pulls up
to the stop and everyone begins to board.  The vargr go
first and you see that there is a turnstile in the bus' door
and you have to pay a one mark fee to get through the
doorway an on the bus.  Each of the vargr drops a coin into
the slot and passes through and up the steps.

Mitch says, "I'll get it for you siannas." as he drops one
mark coins into the slot allowing April and then Ilane to
board. The two men follow you.

Once on the bus you see it is less than half full.  There
are 15 people aboard seated on bench style seats.  Each
bench looks like it can seat two comfortably.  The two vargr
you had been talking too take a bench near the front.  There
are empty seats behind them on both sides of the center
asile.

April goes for the empty seats on the center aisle.  She'll sit and settle in 
for the ride and wait for the others to get settled. "So what do you gentleman 
do for a living?"
