Woof

Can't find the mail, but Woof wants to reply to it...


Woof returns Stef's hug, and says in Vargr, "Any Lika male would welcome
your scent by his fire, Stefanie.  Lika is honored by your pleasure."

Woof then gets everyone set, gets the folks drinks in the common area, then
begins working on the meals.  He pulls his 'Tyrone's Tantalizing Treats'
cookbook from the shelf and looks through it, looking for something that
Stefanie would enjoy.  Next meal he'll do something for the footballers.

Woof is preparing the dinner as the ship transitions into 
Jumpspace. He is momentarily disoriented, but it passes 
quickly and he gets back to his work. Everyone, but the 
worst cases of Jump Sickness will be over it and ready for 
their dinner in a half hour, just as he planned it.

In the passenger lounge, Mira and Lysia shrug off the 
momentary nausea of the transition. Mira looks around at the 
others for signs of distress, but no one appears to be 
having a serious bout of Jump Sickness.

Woof has told both of the women that he plans for dinner to 
be a half hour after jump in order to give everyone's 
stomach a chance to settle down. Neither of the women has 
eaten since 1200 and both are quite hungry.

OOG - Sorry I'm not ignoring either game, I've been waiting for some test
results for the last three weeks and haven't felt like much of nothing.
Well that and the first week after they sliced my eye I really couldn't bare
to look at a monitor, gave me a massive headache.

Lysia looks at her stomach, giving it a cautious poke.  "Yes, although I'm
not used to meals at regular times.  Didn't have much time for that in any
life I've lived, eat when you can and ignore the stomach the rest of the
time."

She offers a weak smile and looks about at the lounge.  "I have plans for
the lounge outside my room, I'm not sure what they are but I'm thinking
colour and perhaps something to give a little more privacy."

Lysia stretches a bit as she sniffs the air, "Does Wolfgang cook like a
vargr or like a human?"

OOG:  I understand.  We all seem to be having problems at
the moment.  Going slow is okay, but let's try to keep
things going, okay?

walks back to the lounge to announce that dinner will be
served in 10 minutes.  He overhears...

TGM - I thought they were football (soccer) players or a rugby team
perhaps...  Don't rightly recall.

"Grav-ball, they've got a tail they can use to return the ball, it also
alters their centre of gravity when it comes to bouncing about in low grav
like that.  They can pull off manoeuvres we'd never manage."

"I'll vouch for that!" Woof's voice carries out of the galley.  He comes in
carrying some fried appetizers.  They smell delicious and really are.  "Try

time? She shakes her head, guess its been more of a transition to this new 
life of hers than she thought.

OOG - Suddenly I'm not sure I want to be on this boat...  If Shawn is holding up a wall, who's holding up the airlock?

Oh, and if you're in the "Jump Pool" (the ante is 10 marks) you need to give me your time in hours, minutes and seconds...remember a normal jump is 168 +- 5 hours...the winner of the pool is the person whos guess comes closest to the length of time the ship is in jump.
