Power failing... Enemies gaining...

Power supply when poof this morning.  It'd been on it's way out the door for
a few years but not being one to do something early I waited for it to
totally fold.

Unfortunately now it all smells like new electronics heating up for the
first time...  Phew what a stink.

[OOC:  Yup, they can be pretty *stinky* when they fail, *especially* when one 
of the big capacitors inside pop and get oil all over everything...yuck!]

Ooh! You are *so* lucky, man! I can't count the number of times that 
power supplies, bitter at their early demise, have gone postal on the 
rest of the system, taking motherboards, drives, and various cards with 
them.

This one just tended to overhead and lock itself out...  I really shouldn't
have been so cheap as to run my system on a 200watt PS when it really needed
300W's or better.
