The two women get the van loaded with friendly help from the 
McCall workers, and are waved goodbye.

April pulls out into the the road and staying on the 
roadway, hovering just above it, she drives the van out of 
the port and down busy streets, turing left onto a less busy 
street she stops in front of a large old brownstone. A sign 
out front proclaims this "Mamma Kent's Lodge and Boarding 
House."  There is a mostly empty parking lot beside the 
building, and April pulls in there parking the van.

Once through the front door you are in a small entrance hall
There is a sign here that you read, is says simply Rooms
with an area pointing left and Board with an arrow pointing
right. Straight ahead, at the end of the hall are what 
appear to be restrooms.

When you look to the left you see a small lobby and a
counter with an older woman standing behind it. There are
other people in the lobby area

Glancing to the right you see a dining hall with what look
like private rooms around the larger public room. There
don't appear to be any diners at this time, but there are
some servers setting up tables with silverware.

  One or two rooms?"

"Will you be wanting board along with your rooms?" she asks 
adding, "That is an extra 10 marks per person per day and 
includes three full meals a day."

The woman takes the card and runs it through a reader and 
hands it back to April, "The receipt will print out in a 
second."

She turns to the side and takes a slip of paper from a 
machine next to the terminal and hands it to April.

Then turning to rear she takes a card from a slot and says 
as she hands the card to April, "Room 23 has a nice view of 
the garden in the back. Dinner service begins at 1800 and 
continues until 2200, breakfast is from 0600 to 0900, and 
lunch is from 1100 to 1400."

She steps out from behind the counter and says, "If you will 
follow me I will show you the way."

She leads you to an open grav lift. You step inside and she 
waves her hand over "2" on the pad and the floor beneath you 
begins to rise. Number 23 is to the right and down the hall.

"I am Liz Chanda Kent, the day manager. My mother in law is 
the owner and cook here." she says as she walks down the 
hall with you, "I'll leave you to get settled, but if you 
need anything just come down and ask me and if it's 
something I can do I will."

Opening the door you find yourselves in a sunny room with a 
window that really does overlook a small garden complete 
with flowers and a small fountain. There is a small sitting 
room with a pair of stuffed chairs facing a small 
entertainment center. A desk and chair with a terminal is 
against another wall.

An open door leads to a short hall. There is a door on the 
left leading to a bedroom with two double beds. There is a 
door on the right leading to a small bathroom.

In the bedroom there are a pair of chests of drawers and a 
fairly large walk in closet.

April puts down the bags and holds out her hand to Sianna Kent to 
shake.  "Thank you Sianna Kent."

*really* beat..."  After checking to make sure that the room's door is locked, 
Ilane sets the room's terminal to wake her with enough time to change and get 
ready for the meeting [PTGM:  Does the calculator/PDA that she has on her 
person have an alarm function?  If so, she'll set that too as a backup].  She 
then gets into bed and quickly falls asleep, pausing only for a moment to take 
off her shoes.

April  hits the fresher after Ilane.  She quickly dries off and styles her 
hair casually.   She too dons a casual outfit, choosing a pair of brown 
leather pants, a sleeveless lizard print blouse and a pair of black boots.  
She quickly puts on some make-up. She makes sure she has everything she needs 
with her.

"Alright, I'm ready.  The Plugged Nickle isn't far from here.  I think we 
should walk it.  Are you alright with that?"  April asks Ilane concerned that 
she is might be too tired.

OOC: Ilane still feels a bit tired, but not too bad. She can walk a few 
blocks, in fact, it will probably just serve to wake her up a bit 
more...get the blood flowing. She will certainly be ready for an early 
evening and a long sleep tonight, though.

Trying her best not to look tired, Ilane follows her cousin out the door and 
over to the Plugged Nickel.  To her surprize, the short walk seems to do some 
good, so she feels noticably better by the time she gets there.
