After 30 minutes of "getting to know you" time, the group of cousins and 
partners are gathered around a large table in Pasco's back room each 
with his or her drink of choice and, for those that are hungry, 
something to eat. 

"So, is it time for business?" Jac asks and looks around focusing on 
Ricardo, "Captain O'Brien, what sort of arrangements do you have in mind 
now that there are an additional two partners to integrate into the mix?

Mira orders a very thick but otherwise small steak preceded by a salad and 
accompanied by whatever steamed or cooked veggies they happen to be serving 
and no potato or rice to speak of. She does ask for some bread or rolls and 
if given a choice, gets something crusty rather than soft and fluffy. Like 
a really good sour dough or crusty french bread. She orders a very nice 
glass of wine with her meal, selecting to suit her own preferences not 
whatever would be 'suggested' with meat. And she looks for something 
lighter on the palette for a desert, a fresh sorbet, perhaps, or maybe a 
small slice of key lime pie.

also a licensed Ship's Boat pilot [OOC: Ship's Boat-0]."  Ilane smiles a little

Ricardo says "No, I think most of them are covered under reciprocal 
agreements. I do know that the ones I had to take I'd never needed in 
the CSA, since I didn't operate a commercial vessel for hire..."

OOC: Ilane has those skills..or ratings, but to be *certified* she needs 
to pass those dreaded tests that Ricardo, Shawn and the other had to 
pass here on Mark where the ship is registered. Go to

Although what Mira and Woof are having sounds good, Ilane decides to have 
something lighter, perhaps a small bowl of soup, followed by a nice salad with 
cheese and chicken.  She pics a nice, crisp white wine to go with it, and then, 
opting for a little decadence at the last minute, has a piece of tiramisu and 
big, tasty cup of cafe mocha to wash it down.

He offers her a bottle.  It is a good wine, not too expensive.
Down-to-earth-good-with-steak wine, not some high falutin hundred year old
vintage from some ancient vinyard...
