OOC: Ricardo, Zeek, Ukanav, and Cory are in their cabins sleeping...unless one or more of them wake up with all the commotion going on and come out to see what is the matter. Woof is in the galley making soup and hot tea. Mira, Jac, and Lessa are in Sickbay. When Mira starts to unwrap Lessa's right hand the woman grimaces. This is the first indication to Mira that she is in actual physical pain. The bandage is sticking a little, so Mira uses water and shears to remove it revealing a cut across her knuckles that is oozing blood, turning her hand over Mira sees her palm has a third degree burn and is also oozing blood. Lessa's other hand has similar cuts and burns, but these are more superficial. In Mira's judgment, Lessa should be in a good bit of pain just from the burn on her right hand. Eris AKU GM Eris AKU GM

You're still going to feel some of what I'm doing to clean you up, but I don't think you want to be unconscious right now. Just relax now." She gives her the pain kill and starts working on the hands until she has the hands in the regen tank. First the right hand, if she can't do them both at once. "Ok, you'll be in there for a few minutes. I'm going to be fussing around a bit, but I'll be right here. If you need anything, just say my name, ok? Mira or Doc. I'll even answer to 'hey you'." Mira

You know, you sound *just* like my wife there...:-P Ricardo says, "Well, I'll be right there." He throws on a pair of shorts and a tee shirt and heads to the Sick Bay. Once there he sees the assembled crowd. "Hello, Lessa." He turns and gives Woof a glare. "So we have some fresh caffe? I suspect this will take a while." He listens to Woof's tale, then says to Lessa. "We're going to have to see this recording. I'm not entirely sure what we *can* do to help you, in fact, beyond recommending some good lawyers." -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs

Jac says, "Woof you might be right about keeping the authorities out of this, but I really think the Captain of the ship needs to be in the loop, at this point." Lessa says, "I *can't* go to the authorities. I don't know who I can trust there." Jac frowns, "Trust? What do you mean by that?" Then he holds up his hand, "No, just wait and tell us when the Captain gets here. No reason in making you say it more times than you have to." Eris AKU GM

"We will talk more about this after we get her settled." he says taking the bag from Woof and carrying it toward his stateroom. OOC: BTW, Lessa has the briefcase with her and isn't letting it go. She takes it to Sickbay with her. Eris AKU GM

In sickbay, Mira will let her use it as a pillow, under her head or legs, whichever, but gently coaxes that she can't help fix her hands if she doesn't let go of it, but reassuring her that no one would take it out of her sight.
