Shawn and Ilane leave the restaurant and head back into the warehouse district just north of the Starport on its western side. This is the area where Ilane went to rent the boat from McCalls, and where she and April met and picked up the two men they had drinks with a week ago. When the pair come to the street heading to McCalls, instead of heading south Shawn continues west. Near the docks along the river, with warehouses and storage facilities on both sides, he turns to the right, passing through an open gate in a 3 meter high metal fence into a gravel parking lot beside a two story building. The parking lot forms a plaza with buildings on three sides, two obviously warehouses and the one on the left side a combination warehouse office. There are two trucks backed up to loading docks next to the warehouses and a three automobiles parked next to the warehouse/office building. There are metal stairs up the side of the warehouse/office building leading to a door labeled "OFFICE" and it is up those stairs that Shawn leads Ilane. Opening the door causes a jingling sound, and you see a bell above the door that is forced to ring whenever the door is opened. The pair of you step inside and are greeted by the sight of a middle aged woman seated behind a wooded desk. She has a stack of papers on the desk and appears to be transferring information from the papers to a computer terminal. Also in the office are a burly looking woman of about 30 and a vargr of indeterminate age. Both of these people are dressed in work clothes. They are queued up in front of the seated woman's desk. The woman has short blonde hair under a dingy cap and is carrying a clipboard with several sheets of paper on it. She is standing in front of the desk peering down at the woman who is working at the terminal. The vargr, who you note has reddish brown fur, is smoking a cigar and wagging his short tail sticking out of a hole in the back of his jumpsuit. He is tapping a staccato rhythm with the fingers of one hand on the clipboard he is holding with the other. He glances back at the Shawn and Ilane as they step inside and moves slightly up to further block you from the woman at the desk. He appears to be impatiently waiting in line behind the blonde woman. The woman at the desk glances up from her work at the ringing of the bell and says, "Join the line. I'll get to you in a minute." Looking around the rest of the office, you see a couch and pair of chairs in a waiting area. You also see a closed door with the words "Private Office" printed on it. Eris AKU GM

You are waiting only a couple of minutes before the door to the private office opens and a short, balding, man with a red face and an angry expression comes out. He is gripping what look like paper forms in one hand. "Damnation! Sally, the /Gypsy/ lifted on us yesterday and left me high and dry with this freight." he says to the woman behind the desk, "Those black hearted ba....." Ilane sees the man's eyes fall on her in the middle of his oath and he stops and seems to swallow his words. The little bald man stares at Ilane his mouth still hanging half open for several seconds before he remembers to snap it shut. He doesn't look angry, he looks shocked, almost like he's seeing a ghost. Ilane doesn't know this man, she's never seen him before in her life. Shawn recognizes him as Rosco Ollis Eris AKU GM

Ollis turns quickly at this and looks at Shawn. He looks perplexed. "Si Smith of the /Mae Lee/." he holds out his hand to shake with Shawn, "Yes, I remember you well enough, but I don't remember this charming cousin of yours." "You're here to talk about freight, then no need to stand in line." he says putting his hand on Shawn's back and steering him toward his inner office, "Come in! Come in!" Looking over his shoulder he asks Ilane, "Would you care to join us Sianna, or would you rather wait out here?" There is a change in Rosco's expression, Ilane can't tell if he's more excited or more nervous, but Ilane joining them in his office seems to have affected him *somehow*. "Yes, yes!" he says, "Hee, yes. Of course. Do come in, then." Ollis's inner office is nothing special. It is just a cube of space with a desk, computer terminal, filing cabinet, and stacks of papers on every available flat space. There are no windows or any wall decorations, except for a photograph of a ship. A ship that is clearly the /Mae Lee/. There are three chairs on one side of the desk and one behind it. To the desk's left there is a closed, unmarked, door. Ollis takes the chair behind his desk and says as he reaches out to lay a framed photograph on his desk face down, "Please sit down. Yes, yes!" "Now!" he leans back and looks at Shawn, "Si Smith, didn't I see in the vids the other day that you and your crew are the heroes of Sequi for your exploits during the recent flooding?" Eris AKU GM
