Ricardo and Shawn work on the flight plans and the jump plots on the bridge. The flight plan out to the jump point isn't hard, and although the jump plot isn't *hard* it is time consuming. Shawn gets finished first and looks over Ricardo's shoulder as he works. Arvitis is also on the bridge sitting at a station reading from an old leather bound notebook and occasionally making notes of his own in his own notebook. Kelly has Engineering ready to go and the fuel is processing. He and April are puttering around in Engineering waiting to hear when the ship is going to lift. Woof takes a doublecheck on the the cargo. It's all there, including a pile of junk that he doesn't remember being there. There is also a ground vehicle parked in the cargo bay. It hasn't been locked down with restraints of any kind, and it needs to either be removed or secured. As he's looking these two unsecured pieces of cargo over he hears a truck pull up outside and after some loud talk, he sees Cory pushing a pallet of boxes in through the forward cargo hatch. Jac has left the ship, "on an errand", "ship's business" he calls it. Ilane and Ukanav are off duty, seated in the crew lounge watching a live feed of video off Mark TV. Lessa has come out of her cabin and is also there. OOC: If I left anyone out let me know.

Upstairs in the lounge Lysia hops to her feet and runs for her quarters. "Crap crap. Stupid dumb stupid." Where she retreives the key and locker card for the car, before pelting downstairs as fast as she can. She's still wearing the same red kerchief over her hair and Mitch's grubby coveralls. The covies are partially unzipped and she's got a black shirt on under them. "You didn't block the car in did you?" She pants, clearly she's run down from upstairs somewhere. "I forgot all about it and Morgana will have my ass if I take it." She catches her breath quickly. "I should see what else she has stashed in storage, maybe she's got a motorcycle, that'd be better for me than flying." Lysia says to no one in particular. "Anyone up for a quick ride across the starport?" She spins the keys and storage card around her finger. Lysia David

"Excellent," Lysia grins, "climb in, belt up, and hold on." "Back in a few," she says to Cory as she hops into the car, "try not to leave without us." Lysia turns the key and the engine roars to life, she smiles as the throb of eight gas powered cylinders fills the cargo hold. "I'm going to miss this." She pulls the car out of the hold slowly turns towards the storage yard and brings it to a complete stop. "How long have you been in space Wolfgang? Was it something you always wanted to do, or was it a move of necessity?" Lysia stands on the brakes and revs the engine a bit, the vehicle torques up a bit but doesn't move more than a few centimeters. She grins a bit before matting the gas pedal and lighting the tires up for a few seconds before releasing the brakes. The large steel vehicle launches across the starport towards the gates pressing you back into your seat. Lysia David

oog - I'm assuming this should be ("Who?" Cory ask Woof.)
"Morgana, my sister, the Wicked Witch of the East. She's a total pack rat when it comes to things of value, if there's a chance it might be worth something in ten years she dumps it into a storage facility, covers it with a tarp and lets it rott there for a decade."
Lysia sudders, "It's kind of creepy actually, like some sort of ghost house with all the furnature covered in white sheets. I'm almost afraid to ask what's under half of them but like I said maybe she's got a motorcycle in there, fingers crossed."
"She had this brilliant Manic Valkyre, Cafe Racer, bright red and black." She stops suddenly, "I'm babbling, don't mind me." She wipes her hands one last time on Mitch's coveralls before vanishing into the evening with Wolfgang.

So tell me, why did you head to space?" "I left in an attempt to find myself. I reasoned, falsely of course, that myself probably wasn't looking for me so I'd better go looking for it. I was young, foolish and just trying to be a big fish in a big pond, I thought I'd find adventure and romance. At the very least I thought I'd find an easy way to end my miserable life that didn't involve me doing it myself." She smirks a little, "I'd tried pills, and slitting my wrists but I was a bit of a failure at that too. Never could do anything right without Morgana's help." Lysia shrugs, "Anyways, instead of finding any of those things I found a place where hell had crossed into our world and a desire to keep living. I saw to much death in that place to want to go there myself." "After I came back from there, fifteen months, fifty some odd surgeries and three psychiatrists later I went to Segui in yet another attempt to find myself and you know what happened after that." She pulls the car into the storage area. "Watch the door," Lysia says with a smile, "scratching the paint on this thing is worth more than your life I'll bet." "Now where was that place she had it stored." She drives around looking for the right building. Lysia David

I thought that perhaps there would be one game where a party of players portraying their characters could work towards a common goal without petty quarreling, underbiting, and back stabbing each other in character. Perhaps I am looking for the impossible. Hope ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/

OOC: Yeah, I'd say you have. Once could be ignored, twice is a step too far. Now, I'm sure *you* don't have any malice in your heart, and frankly, I doubt Lysia does either, she's just being Lysia, but let's try to be a little more careful with what we have our character's say. As players we aid the GM in creating the story and we have responsibility to the GM and to the story itself. Although our PC's are individual identities within the story, we need to extend some degree of control in their actions in order to preserve game and party integrity. Yes Lysia may have made one small comment in Vargr, where no one speaks it but them, however, one small comment can get out of hand quite quickly or lead to other comments. But that is only my viewpoint. Thank you for listening. Hope ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/

Lysia my act the wild child and do plenty of outrageous things but inside she's very conservative due to her up bringing, the joys of a childhood of privilage. I would never let something that someone said destroy party unity the party and the goals of the party are always paramont to anything else. Besides there's a little kid involved and that just burns my ass. I would expect the same kind of consideration from everyone else. I can understand that most of you are involved in a game, no names mention *cough MO cough* where there's that kind of waspish backstabbing going on all the time but this isn't that game and after all this time how many times has the line even appeared in this game? Besides who got stuck with Geo??? You all deserve at least one or two more good shots before that whole thing comes out even and if any of you men start to cry I'm breaking out the belt and I'll make sure you have something to cry about. Derek pulls back on his Lysia mask points back to the Sound Stage number 8 where the Mae Lee set is constructed, "Now I think that the director is about to fire all of our backsides if we don't get back to work and try not to hit your heads on the mic again."
