This is a small port along the north shore of a large bay. There are two 
long tarmac covered runways forming an X with three concrete pads next 
to the runways. A small tower with a metal building next to it provides 
office space for the Port Captain and controls for the tower. Beyond the 
tower, next to the 3 meter high chain link surrounding the port, there 
are several large tanks and a small building that is probably housing a 
fuel processor and fusion reactor.

The /Blue Rain/ is on one of the concrete pads, and April and Kelly see 
that a large..1000+ ton ship fills one of the other pads, and a 200 ton 
free trader filling the other.  The /Mae Lee/ is taxing over to a grassy 
area next to one of the runways. There are two large trucks next to the 
big ship, and several people are loading boxes into them using grav 
pallets.  The free trader appears to be locked up tight with no action 
around it.

As you stroll over toward that ship you have to pass the larger one. As 
you pass it, you hear a couple of the people doing the unloading call 
out "Hello' to you and wave. Their greetings appear cheerful and friendly.

As Kelly and April get closer they see that the pair are a man and a 
woman, both appear to be in their 30's, and they are dressed in blue 
and grey uniforms. You can see the name of the ship on the hull 
plating over their heads.../DesPlanes/...and "A ship of the Waite 
Lines" painted below the name.  Neither of you have heard of the 
Waite Lines before.  The ship itself is a large one, as big as the 
/Mae Lee/, probably a thousand tons or more, and has the blocky 
shape of a merchant ship.

The pair stop their work and step toward you. Both of them have 
darki hair and brown eyes, with a decided slant. Their skins are a 
brownish yellow and both are smallish. As they move toward you you 
note that they appear somewhat clumsy or awkward in their movements.

"To you both, greetings." says the man in accented Ganglish when you 
are about 2 meters from him. He puts his hands together, palm to 
palm with his fingers pointing toward first one of you then the 
other. The woman stops beside her companion and does the same, 
although she adds a short bow to her greeting.

April does, Kelly doesn't.  This is a formal greeting common on Muan 
Gwi. The Gwi aren't common in the CSA, but they do trade occasionally 
with Mark, where April ran across it, and other systems coreward of 
Mark. The Gwi are supposed to be a very religious people, very formal, 
sober and serious,  Gwi corporations, even small ones, are highly 
structured and formal with employment for life, even generational.

hand on his chest, and this is Carjin Hare 2nd Assistant Cargo hand."

The woman places her hand on her chest and inclines her head, "We are 
honored to meet fellow travellers."

Zins steps forward in a more relaxed way and says, "We are just in from 
Montrose and Newton with a load of colonists and their belongings."

He looks over at the boxes he and Carjin were loading onto the trucks 
and says, "This is the last of their gear. We shall be travelling on to 
Mark before returning to Muan Gwi."

Carjin bows her head.

Zins continues, "But that doesn't mean we can't find time to, um, as you 
said 'stretch your legs' and enjoy or visits to the ports we pass through.

Dako says to April and Kelly, "Perhaps you would care to join us, Carjin 
and I, tonight for dinner and exchange stories?"

With more bows the two Muan Gwi crewmen go back to their duties, 
leaving April and Kelly on the tarmac.

Further down the runway, to their right, they see the /Blue Rain/ 
parked on a concrete pad. It looks like Shawn and Ilane are walking 
around their ship inspecting it. Still further down is a larger ship 
(maybe 200 dtons) also parked on a pad. This ship looks locked up 
tight and there are no crewmen visible outside it. Back to their 
left is the small Terminal building and beyond that the /Mae Lee/ 
parked on the grassy verge of the runway. The /Mae Lee/ towers over 
any of the buildings around the small starport.

Other than the open water beyond the runway toward the bay, the 
small starport is surrounded by a high chain link fence. You can see 
several people, most of them youngsters, standing outside the fence 
near the Terminal. They are excitedly talking to each other and 
pointing to the multiple ships parked inside the fence.

The girl blinks at Kelly for a minute before saying, "They looked like 
Hooters, you know...man had a beard, woman had on her bonnet, you 
know...they looked like Hoots."

"You can see all of them you want if you go out to the colonies." a boy 
says from the back.
