Do you have like an open invitation or a "Hurricane's Welcome" sign out in front of your place Eris?

Dunno. Looks like New Orleans is hosed.

Yup. I heard from one of weather.com's video feeds this morning that
there have already been some levee failures and significant flooding
there. :(

Two days later, NO is flooded, looters and shooters are running
rampant. Yes, it's really, *really* bad over that way. If you want
a more local perspective on what's going on, go to http://wkrg.com
(Mobile, AL) and watch the streaming video. I only lost power for an
hour, but had no cable until Wednesday, so I watched wkrg and wwl
(NO) webfeeds.

The police and military should deploy sniper teams. Anyone who is seen
looting or otherwise being a thug catches a bullet.

I can understand the desire to kick in a door to wallgreens or whatever and
get food and water for your family but upgrading your home entertainment
system and getting 50 pair of new jeans that's just wrong.

I just heard a report that there is anarchy in parts of that area. One man
said he saw women being raped along the road after the perps stopped their
cars. The National Guard is inbound with orders to kill.

Nope, not Iowa, too cold in the winter, too windy in the spring. :)

Not me! But I'm starting to get the idea that someone down here does.
