I should have one like this for the /Mae Lee/ and the /BlueRain/...*however* the downside of a static page like that is that I have to edit it offline then upload the changes to the server. It would certainly be easier if I could update the page with new entries each time there was a change...ie. a blog type application that allowed me to add "comments" online. I just haven't had time to try to *write* something like that...or look for a simple blogging app that I could install. Does anyone have a suggestion for something simple, already created, and free that I could put out the webserver? Eris

I haven't created webs for most of the games only because most haven't used them, but it's the work of thirty seconds. http://www.phoenyx.net/twiki/ The Celandra game's the poster child for extreme wiki use: http://www.phoenyx.net/twiki/bin/view/Celandra/WebHome

Be a good place for notes, comms, etc. Easier than uploading it...just edit it in place. I was planning on doing a php/database thing on my web server (dbdev2.pharmacy.arizona.edu) basically to teach myself php...but this already exists, and won't be dependent on my rather intermittent spare time. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs

Done. http://www.phoenyx.net/twiki/bin/view/Akus We'll be upgrading from TWiki eventually (TWiki is, to put it charitably, less than well-written) but the transition should be seamless.

Thanks, Karen! It looks good. Now to figure out how to use it. :) BTW, would *you* be interested in playing in the Akus game? It looks like Lessa and her daughter are going to be with the ship for the long haul, and if you were interested you could take over Lessa. In case you haven't been keeping up, Lessa is a journalist (worked for the Mark News Network) who was framed for the murder of her ex-husband (and her daughter was kidnapped) to keep her from breaking a story about Zeristu infiltration into the Spacers Guild *and* the Mark government. Lessa appealed to Woof, and the /Mae Lee/ crew for help, and they did...got her notes to Mark Internal Security, snuck her off Mark and rescued her daughter. She's grateful, probably feels beholden to the crew, and really can't go home until all of this is cleared up back there, so she's going to be travelling with them (under an assumed name) for the next few months...and in this game that could be years. :) Eris AKU GM

He used the word 'could'. 'Would' would be more appropriate! Even if we were to pick up the pace! C'mon, join us! Greg aka Woof The Count, MonteCristo@hotmail.com

Right now, I'm trying very hard to get the Phoenyx software upgraded, and I have my own game (_Gavilan_, a Traveller/Firefly/Cherryh mashup free trader campaign, discussed on the Phoenyx' GAMERS group: http://www.phoenyx.net/gamers/2005/12 and so forth) on hold until I get it written. (And if anybody's an HTML/CSS designer, or a Perl coder, or an SQL wizard, there's lots I could delegate.) Still, I'll give it some thought.

When I'm not using my Bloglines account, I'm silver@phoenyx.net... or root@phoenyx.net, when I'm feeling all authoritative and stuff. Which is to say, since the Phoenyx just celebrated its twentieth(!) birthday last month, I know *all* about the length of PBeM games... :}
Happy Birthday!!!!!! That's always fun to realize that you've been a success for quite a few years.
