Merinn stepped inside Norman's Lounge and stopped to look around. She was early, the ornate clock on the back of the wall said 1810, and her meeting wasn't until 1830. A small band was playing on a stage over to her right and there were a number of tables and booths between her and the stage. Along the back of the room she saw a long bar with a number of sophents seated on stools drinking. To the left she sees employee areas, kitchens and the like. In front of her a young man standing behind a podium says, "Can I help you?" At one of the tables Issac looks up and sees a tall redhead walk into the lounge. Good looking woman, well built and looks like she can take care of herself. He wonders if she's one of the bunch he has signed on with. That Captain Cherz...ah, hell how do you say that! Issac looks at the note he has spread out on the table next to his beer mug, Chevzardnazheh...Captain Krikor Chevzardnazheh. Anyway, that Captain said the crew was meeting here at 1830 hours. He'd told that ponce at the door to send stragglers over to his table...but no one had shown up yet and here is was...1815 by his watch! Eris Akus Moby

"Captain Chevzardnazheh made the reservation, I think." JR

You see a soft light reflect from the surface as he scrolls through reservations on the computer screen, "Ah, yes!" "Captain Chevzardnazheh has not arrived as of yet, but a member of your party has." he moves a finger and taps on the screen, "If you will direct your attention to the lounge you will see a light above the table where you will be meeting." Glancing out into the lounge area you see the light above a table where a man is seated. He is looking at you. Over at the table Issac sees the woman at the reservations podium look toward him. Probably, one of the squad he is supposed to meet here. Not the Captain, though, unless Kirkor is a woman's name. Eris Akus Moby

He is looking at you. "Thanks." Merinn walks over to the indicated table. "Are you waiting for Captain Chevzardnazheh?" Her Vilani-accented speech is precise and cultured. The redhead smiles, but she makes only brief eye contact. JR

The waiter is at your elbow almost as fast as your gesture. Up on the stage the five piece band is playing a light jazzy number. Eris Akus Moby

As you speak to the man you notice the band on the small stage is playing a light jazzy number based on an old Vilani folk song...it actually works, to Merinn's surprise. Eris Akus Moby

With work and baby I've been a tad... busy as of late. I'm just wondering what everyone's made for characters and what do we need? DS
Hiya Derek! :) I've created the character listed below: Dame Sharda Gidikki 679ABB played by Bob Kondrk Merchants 3 terms, Age: 29 Trader-3, Liaison-3, Broker-1, Communication-1, Gunnery-1, Pilot-1, Navigation-1, Grav Vehicle-1 Cash: 10,000 Possessions: TAS A former devoted employee of Tukera, Sharda was forced to leave before her third term was over because her nasty boss decided to replace her while she was off serving the Imperial military during the FFW and refused to rehire her after she returned. The resulting severance pay was a mere *pittance*, requiring her to quickly seek new employment. Description: Sharda is 5'9" and 136 lbs., with very long, straight black hair, pretty blue-grey eyes and a well-proportioned and shapely build. Her picture can be found here: http://www.rkondrk.com/pics/dame-sharda-gidikki.jpg -- Bob K.

"Of course." the waiter bows and backs away, all the while giving Issac a slightly dirty look for making extra work. Around the lounge the conversation picks back up. The jazz band on the stage never broke a beat during the whole scene. Eris Akus Moby
