OOC: Would each of you give a brief summary of what you intend to do after the dinner ends, here in this thread. If I need to play out what you are up to, I'll start individual threads for each. For example, I'm sure Krikor's visit to the hotel to meet Lord Percy needs to be played out...by the way, if one or more of you aren't doing anything special you might want to tag along with the Captain to meet your passenger/?benefactor?. Krikor and Persephone already discussed it--while it would be a good idea, perhaps, for Paris to meet the new supercargo (or at least low-powered cargo), she is instead heading for the ATM, taking out a cool thousand from her own personal accounts and then heading towards the /Akus/ and opening it up for those personnel that wish to board yet this evening. Once aboard the /Akus/, she will be powering up for occupancy rather than storage-and completing her inventory of crew and passenger quartering, placing the orders as needed for bedding, linens, cleaning fluids for the galley and crew areas, consumables for the next four days for ten, perusing the local wine lists for purchase and otherwise awaiting arrival of crew and the inevitable call from Bart for bail... Somewhere along this, she'll probably get distracted and forget all about having to go meet Krikor at his suite--unless, of course, calls and reminds her...

Desdaemona head's back to her coffin motel, who needs more than 1m x 1m x 2m when you're only living there? Grabs her few things and heads to the ship. Where she immediately begins running systems diagnostics to see what works, what doesn't work, what needs to be fixed, what can wait till tommorow to be fixed and what can be held off on till a week from next tuesday.

Merinn collects her gear from the motel near the starport and boards the /Akus Moby/. She sets her gear down in Engineering pending a cabin assignment, and begins running diagnostics and checking the ship's logs. JR

"I'm honestly not sure," she confessed, "based on what I've seen aboard, its been a while-it was pretty well cleaned out and seemed well maintained." She shrugged and stood, pulling on her jacket over the light-colored blouse she wore, adjusting it idly as though arranging it around a shoulder-holster that wasn't immediately present. "Tell you what--I'll ask the deck chief as soon as I hit the starport."

He'll be doing something before then? I'm not sure he knows for sure what yet but, he's not yet considered paying a bunch of money to a bunch of locals. As you can guess the only thing he thinks for sure is going to happen, is, he'll spend 45 minutes trying to get those damn medals and ribbons to be exactly 4mm above the highest point of the pocket and parallel to the deck. And then another 3 getting dressed plus 15 to 30 seconds threading the frog on the belt, putting the pistol on, and loading a mag. Oh yea and 5 seconds to wipe off the shinny rank insignia, though that's normally done while walking out the door because it was forgotten till then. Earl

Paris glanced up from her PDA, knowing, just knowing, the man had more guns than what was good for him and gave him the thumb-and-pinky finger ear/mouth touch, the universal, 'Call Me' gesture, then looked back at her PDA.
