"Doctor," she said, moving into the Medlab and nodding at their guest. "I have clothing--would you excuse us for just a moment as she changes?"
She proffered forth the skirt and blouse.
"Does this mean you're taking me with you?" she asks as she slips off the examining gown Issac had made her put on.
She takes the clothing from Paris and start to redress.
"This means," Paris replied gently, "that the Captain has not
yet decided
your status." She gave a small, comforting smile. "But you
should at least
be comfortable and well dressed."
She paid attention to the woman without watching, then asked,
"Would you
care for something to eat?"
The woman blushes a bit for admits, "I'm starved."
Before Paris could respond:
"Mouse," Bart billows from his chair just inside the door, "She can have food after she goes over exactly how she got in." His voice softens, "I'll bring her to the lounge after she demonstrates her exact steps in the cargo bay."
"I think," Paris said firmly, "that a bite of food might be in order before she goes--according to the doctor, she is eating for two, and I refuse to let an innocent go hungry."
She put her foot down.
"I don't mind showing you how I got aboard." Merdith Meadows says...and after eating a little bit she does. She was disguised as one of the workers, the other workers were in on everything, and while everyone was keeping an eye on "accident and injured worker" she slipped behind the crates and used a screwdriver to loosen the panel over the ductwork. Once inside the duct system she looked for a place to get out. She picked what she thought was an empty stateroom, coming out in the fresher. She was surprised to find Lord Percy asleep in the next room, and when he awoke while she was trying to sneak out of the room she had to explain her presence and convince him to help her.
