And several others will have been interacting for a long time. I think a rich backstory could be valuable. My inital model worked well for virgin territory, but Pasztor's wonder rich campaign calls for anchient rhelics and forgoten ancients. > > > 5) Do we want any conection to Celandra. I would suggest that the IH game rules basically remain unchanged.

i would like to see a many different society game, with subdivision games
created if circumstances and number of players dictate.

I don't know.

I would suggest that we start with a sketch of a history, allow the
players to develop the history, and then perhaps the GM can start
something similar to the Cloak and Dagger storyline.
Though I think I would like to make my society the "big villian" :)

I think that this universe could be considered another island in the
Dreaming, which could be used as hyperspace by some species. THere could
be rumors of a mythical planet deep within the mists of hyperspace...

I think I will vote for no magic, but psionically active races should be
allowed.

I think that we should perhaps use 5 year turns.

>I would suggest that the IH game rules basically remain unchanged. But it does need to be modified a bit like the tech level, military level, society size, Agriculture etc... for this space game. We can use Startreks/Trade War 2002 (BBS game) planet class' or Master of Orions 2 way of identifying different types of planets or mix of both. > > > > > > 2) Will we be doing a game with with many diffrent Societies or > > one common > > > Society or will we do what was did with Elyria/Tryean/Keland? > > (Meaning you have > > > a main game with diffrent Societies but one of those Societies is > > deivded into > > > smaller parts and players.) > > > >i would like to see a many different society game, with subdivision games >created if circumstances and number of players dictate. > > > > > > > > > > 3) Who wants to be GM. I okay with the Dreaming also considered Hyperspace with floating world in it which might of accidently of intentionally at some time entered hyperspace somehow. :) > > > > > > > > > 6) Do we want Magic mixed with tech. or just tech. > > > > >I think I will vote for no magic, but psionically active races should be >allowed. > > > > You left out -- how should time be treated? Exactly why i suggest using a Stardate to measure turns. One Stardate can be considered as a 5 or less years turn. -LordLMP ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send mail to celandra-off@phoenyx.net.

Okay, can say i started the whole discussion by asking if it is possible to adapt the IH rules for a Space Base game. I got some replies, I replied them and the next day, I have 30 to 40 messages about it. :) Gee, i am good at starting up conversations here, hehe I have seen people here replying which i haven't saw yet wrote anything until now in this email list thing. -LordLMP ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send mail to celandra-off@phoenyx.net.
