(I take it I have been apionted to the Voteing List Keeper.) Next voteing list. Um as I said before if their is any imparticilar questions that need to be voted on then send the question to me and I will put on the list of stuff to be voted on. We will get to tech next time. Would guys this time please try to give me a plain simple answear so that I don't have to spend five minutes figuring out what you ment. 1) How should time be treated? 2) Will their still be four actions per turn. 3) What Kind of Star Maps. 4) FTL Travel. 5) Who can do the websit (This is more voluniter then anything else. Mattew did you say that you could.) 6) Reconfirm the vote for Louis Pasztor as GM. 7) Will we start out with the idea of starting with humans then expanding then moving to Aliens or Aliens and Humans mixed together. 8) Will the ratio of Psi be the same as the magic ratio is in Celandra. (Meaning less then 1% of the population can do it.) 9) What are we going to call this game? (I don't know about you but I am getting tired of calling it the Space based IH. Like in Celandra were the continents have names well lets give the sector we will be playing in a name. And I know that to some this may be premature but in my apion we need to create the basics which includes a name then work on the greater detailes.) My vote 1) I like one year per turn. 2) Yes (four actions.) 3) 3D if we can manage 4) No idea. 5) I can't 6) Yes 7) Start with humans and aliens 8) Yes 9) I eill tell when I think of one. ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send mail to celandra-off@phoenyx.net.
Dunno if I get a vote but here's mine.
>1) How should time be treated?
Time should be treated well. We don't want time to rebel against us.
5 years per turn sounds good.
>2) Will their still be four actions per turn.
Personally, I like the system used in Aria where you have 2 base plus 1/2 of
your Scope (modified by philosophy). Bigger you are, more stuff you can do.
>3) What Kind of Star Maps.
What star maps are available? Is all of space mapped out?
>4) FTL Travel.
Depends on society. Certain society could develop different kinds of FTL
travel. Can lead to interesting events. I like the Space Fold where the ship
doesn't move instead space around it moves sort of.
>6) Reconfirm the vote for Louis Pasztor as GM.
Sure although I didn't vote before.
>7) Will we start out with the idea of starting with humans then
>expanding then moving to Aliens or Aliens and Humans mixed together.
Aliens and humans together.
>8) Will the ratio of Psi be the same as the magic ratio is in Celandra.
>(Meaning less then 1% of the population can do it.)
Sure.

How about "The Universe"?

"We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. "

"The Vastness" sound good? > This sounds like a good start - what about going literary with "The Vasty Deep"? (Henry IV, Act III, Scene I: GLENDOWER: I can call spirits from the vasty deep. Well, duh, I guess it can always be enlarged, but having physically long distances between some races seems nice to me. Can we make it a 1000 star map? 4. Yes. Nexus/wormholes/space fold=instantaneous + FTL=not sure how fast + Sublight 5. Not I 6. Rylen, Keaton, Louis 7. Hmm, perhaps both, but the core story and society should be human(oid) based. Not all alien societies need even give the human societies the time of day. 8. Less. Crowe's idea. 9.
