Hi, Karen just added a neat little feature. There's now a subtopic named 'dice' which scans through the email for dice roll requests, then rolls dice and reports the results. Like this: roll 3d6 Results of rolling 3 6-sided dice : 4, 6, 1 (total: 11) (Above should be my roll request, and a line starting with "Results of rolling...", I'm just trying this out...). The neat thing is that it understands fudge dice roll 4df Results of rolling 4 f-sided dice : 1, 1, 1, 0 (total: 3 Superb) Pretty cool (presuming it worked...) Ok, how to use this? -------------------- first, you have to send this to subtopic 'dice', for example: celandra+dice@phoenyx.net Then just begin the request line with 'roll' (or 'Roll', its case-insensitive), and specify the dice to be rolled in format NDM+C where N is the number of dice to roll, D or d is short for 'dice', M is the dice type (a number or f) +C (or -C) is the constant to add to the roll Here's another example: Roll 3D100+10 for me, will you? My general idea (which I've been wanting to play in an IH since I got Aria two years ago) is to take a scholastic aristocracy and submit it to a revolution and just see what hapens.
