Hey; I think people may be quiet because of being busy or distracted. I
would put out a three-week "end of the turn" deadline, or something similar,
to try to get people moving. I started sketching out Milakanur's next turn,
but I haven't completed it. I should, though. (But I should probably get
my tire replaced first.)
Anyway, my thoughts on the list... Ten may be too many, although it is
lettermanesque. I'll pick five.
> Warlord Riacrada (Mir)
The Warlord, for being the person the last Canto was written around. ;) And
for shaking things up with Sin-Alb.
By the way, I pick Sin-Alb as a mover and a shaker, rather than any of his
human compatriots - with the possible (probable) exception of the Traitor.
> Master Scourge Labon (Milakanur)
I think Labon has earned his place on the list, albeit perhaps temporarily.
The Per-Aa is still working on issues with his consent and with internal
matters, and is not really affecting things outside of Milakanur.
> Empress Yzara (Cedonia)
She's doing a good job of trying to recapture Cedonia's glory days, and has
made some radical changes in Cedonia and the outlying areas. Certainly.
I would also suggest one of the Eerith - perhaps Reese?
Partially because the global plots are dominated by the Eerith and the Mir,
and partially because they are also the two societies that define more of
their actions and behavior in terms of personalities. The stories help a
lot. (Speaking of which, M., did you read that proposed bridge story bit
that I sent you a while back?)
> Annaeyana
Definitely on the list. Only for the past few years, though.
> Tal
An older candidate; Tal is probably the trading center for Western Midsea.
> Unnirand
Perhaps on last year's list only, possibly never again.
> Comenaera
> Damaris
A couple of big ones, I would say.
Also, probably Caladyn.
