Several of you have told me that you are experiencing real life
delays. For the moment I would like to try and keep to our rough
schedule, 2843 will be due on 2/10. We may overlap 2842 & 2843 if
necessary. Hopefully, future years will not cross over as much as we
are doing right now. If anyone needs extensions, let me know. I think
at least one person will. Turunas is very busy and may take a week or
so to respond to anyone needing to talk to him.

Hi, 1) Since everyone seems busy to speed things up, I am sending out everyone's 2842 w/ my first set of comments (Reyclean does not have any comments at this moment I believe). If I owe anyone else comments, please let me know. 2) I will close 2842 out on Thursday, 2/1 and list all results as final. If no one has responded w/ revisions, their own comments or asked for an extension you are out of luck. I think there has been more then enough time and requests for replies from the players. If my overlapping action years or something else I maybe doing is causing confusion and delay then let me know so that we can straighten things out for future years. If real life is still causing some of you problems then again, please let me know and we can adjust the calendar. 3) For future years, if no one objects, or there is not a specific request I will publish my comments & results to the list. 1) I have not heard from most of you about making any changes in your
2842 actions. (I know some of you are very busy) I had questions for
some of you about your actions, and some of you did not include
pluses/minuses for your moves. (various results might have been more
successful if you had.) I am resending results in case anyone did not
receive them.
I think everyone should have results except Aloria & Nargash who
have not submitted.
2) Please include difficulty levels & primary determinants in your
actions. Pluses/minuses are your choice but normally they benefit you.
I will start sending back moves soon, for those which do not include
difficulty level and primary determinants.
3) I am sorry for not doing results sooner, work has been busy. I
will definitely get 2843 actions resolved either Friday or over the

for input from Hur'Mel (Duchess Manund asks for any help Order of Mel can
give - military, economical, or diplomatic), and action 2 involves
Asentinir, so input from Fae (and Aloria and Taseleth?) would be welcome.

Emberath, and from there starts to prepare for taking back her lands
by force. She has backing from Duke Emberath, and the Fae, but she
needs more. Action objective is to gather more support, and
overall organize the revolution for an attack in 2844.
Modifiers:
+ backing from Emberath
+ she is a popular figure in Manund
? how is Duke Merelbar doing in Manund? Letting it rot,
fortifying it, or gaining popularity? (subaction, please)
? Duchess asks for help from Order of Mel - she grew up
in Hur'Mel and has many friends there in high places.

against Fae & alllies in Asentinir. They try very hard to find
anything and everything suspicious about the occupation, and

Is the Regency Council ripping off, or doing the right thing?

If Falmyth and Benemeth are attacked outside Asentinir are they going to
fight or run away?
It is my understanding that most of their armies are now committed
outside the gates of Asentinir. If they fight and loose what will the rest
of the Eleven Cities do?

Nevertheless, they won't do anything before next year (2844). Any initial response will be diplomatic rather than armed. mercenaries, former Band of Stone & 5000 of his own)? & I am not sure
if we worked out Aloria's numbers. I believe you mentioned that the
Falmyth & Benemeth's numbers were about 3000 combined. This does not
sound like a good chance for victory, not even including the Fae magics,
so you might want to decide what you do if they are going to attack. If
not I will throw the dice and you can determine the result based on the
roll.

The dukes are certainly not going to attack. They are there to annoy and,
if push comes to shove, give some good resistance and then pull back.
In fact, a suprise attack is something they both expect and also slightly
hope for. This is propaganda, not all-out war. (The war part will come later,
when the dukes have got enough evidence to get support from the others.)
I understand 10000+ vs. 3000 is pretty bad odds for the dukes (a -1 or -2
for the dukes in combat situation), and the dukes understand this, too.
Still, it is enough to provide serious resistance in a well-established
position. If the fae+allies attack them, they will only stay enough to be
able to prove that they were forced out ("without provocation").
