It has recently come to my notice that vicious rumours about Turunas,
pirates and Northmarch have been spreading to the affect that Turunas has made a
deal with pirates to waylay Northmarch shipping. This has naturally come as
a shock to his Lordship.
As you may know Northmarch is our Southern neighbour and although
relations are strained at this present time it is hoped to improve these, thus it is
imperitive that we do not relate with any of Northmarches aggressors, please
settle this matter as soon as possible.
I apologies if this seems direct but Aunderlian lives depend on gaining
good relations with Northmarch.

Advisor Kennton,
The Turani government denies all Northmarchian accusations. Any squabble involving Turanus and Northmarch/Keland began when Turanus merchants were murdered for peaceable trade. Since that time Keland/Northmarch war ships have unmercillesly hounded Turani trade ships. Now the Northmarch government accuses us of dealing with Pirate scum. If this is true than why have we leased some of our fleet to Tasaleth to aid them in defending against these same pirates. It seems that war is now imminent.
We of Turanus are a peace loving people. We live only to trade. We would like to commence trade with Aunderli. If Aunderli is unable to continue trade with us than we wish you luck on completing your domestic projects. Without the resources we can offer you it may well be a long and ardous process. If you look for Northmarch to supply you with goods we wish you luck. It seems very likely that Northmarch will soon have its hands full.

Mylord is overjoyed that these rumours are mere lies, we fully apologies
if our dispatch was misunderstood, we look forward to our mutual trading.
We have also attached the copy of a dispatch which we sent last month as it
appears that it did not arrive, such is the perilous ways of our times. (wrote

upon her is also our loss. Under such circumstances it is understandable
how such a
misunderstanding could could take place. You have mentioned in your
dispatch a representative shall be sent.
