Talis of the Commonwealth of the Sons of Shanar.
The Greetings and Salutations of Peace and Guidance,
As the empowered and elected Binder of the Commonwealth, having been so made by
the Council of Companions of the Commonwealth, I hereby accept your invitation
to parlay. In my place, I send Dhan Kiviri muwallad Faymiyun, who I hereby
empower and annoint as my emissary, and is empowered to make any and all
agreements and decisions in my name on behalf of the Commonwealth. Dhan Kiviri,
a Shanari son of the northern Kiviri mountains and the freedman of the late
Conveyor, the Alb-Sheikh Faymiyun, is a capable diplomat and scholar, and an
embodiement of the Commonwealth of the Sons of Shanar, and of the religion of
the Path of our glorious ancestor Shanar, and will add grace and wisdom to your
council.
Furthermore, like the nations that surround the Southern Sea, the people of the
Calarnari Sea suffered greatly from the Cult of the Demon Worshippers. With the
death of their false god, and the destruction of their armies, some semblance of
peace has been restored to the Calarnari and Southern Seas. So many of all our
sons
have perished in the name of this evil cause, and many a desert tent, mountain
firepit and valley hearth left cold and empty.
To that end, the Commonwealth seeks only thing, for justice to be established in
the Shanari lands, and serve as a beacon of light in a time where darkness still
rules many a tent and hearth. The futility of mass war, and the mindless death
and destruction witnessed in the battles that scarred the towns of the Morvali
and Bel'Adne, can only be overcome through the promotion of commerce and trade
for the benefit of all.
For in the end, the Shanari peoples are traders, as are many others, and the
Commonwealth as such invites all to many a parlay of trade. Shanari traders
already trade with the lands north of the Calarnari Sea, and with those to the
south, and are opening up new markets to the east and west, and will sit and
parlay trade with any who approaches with open hands.
Having stated all these matters, as the Binder of the Commonwealth however, I
must forewarn the peoples of the lands that Commonwealth seeks only to unite the
Shanari peoples and eliminate the nihilistic superstitions and foul sorceries
and necromancies that gave rise to the Cult of Demon Worshippers. The Shanari
lands as many would know, run from the Western Mountains that line the western
shores of the Calarnari Sea to the Kelshiri Coast, and from the borders of the
Morvali to the borders of the Bel'Adne. All that lies between is Shanari, and
therefore of the Commonwealth of the Sons of Shanar. All that lies beyond is
beyond our scope, save for the abilities of the peoples of the lands to buy,
sell and trade.
In conclusion though, i must cite prose that I composed in the early days of the
Conveyor flight to the Calarnar, when proxies of the Cult of Demon Worshippers
tried to drive us from our capital of Akbari:
"Invade and attack the Shanariyya Commonwealth,
If you are fool enough.
He Who is One protects us,
And makes us like sleek ships
Sailing across the waters of the Calarnar Sea of Old,
While you shall sink and drown in the sands.
Invade and attack the Shanariyya Commonwealth,
If you are fool enough.
The Calarnar shall drain you,
The Mountains shall crush you,
And at a time that we choose,
The Shanariyya shall kill you."
The Commonwealth seeks no war and no conflict, only trade, peace, prosperity and
justice. The Commonwealth however shall not tolerate foreign interference or
incursions in any of the Shanari lands, and should others take the Path of
Foolishness, then they must prepare to bear the responsibility.
All those who seek the Path of Prosperity, or indeed the Path of Guidance, shall
receive the hospitality and protection, and indeed the commerce, of the
Commonwealth.

For Khalf son of Olric son of Shanar rebelled against his father, and against his Lord, and He Who is One struck the sons of Shanar for their unfaithfulness and whisperings.
And the sons of Shanar inherited naught but the dust and the heat for the gardens of Calarnar itself had rejected them.
Sons of Shanar! Do you not remember?
Heed the warning from this messenger, for he is but a servant of He Who is One. Heed and you shall succeed, rebel and you shall enjoy only that which disappears, and not that which lasts.
