Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

[Qai] [cel][Eerith acts and breif admin]

The admin. first: This e-mail address works and should continue to do so for some time (hope, hope, hope). We'll stick with this one for now and I'll let everyone know when the main e-mail is straightened out and running. I'm wrapping up the last actions of 1431 now (strong hint to those who haven't gotten their's in for some reason) and I'll start 1432 with events by week's end (baring the unforeseen).

The Eerith and the Second Meeting of Nations:

As the Meeting (and the year) come to a close and the various delegates prepare to depart the hospitality of Mir, the Eerithian representative delivers, as part of the closing ceremonies, the following statements. Make of them what you will and respond accordingly.

"Dearest mundane, mortals, immortals, and avatars of assorted unrevealed powers, we have been authorized to speak to you on behalf of the Reverend Mother and the children of Valor over whom she presides.

"We have, within the past decades learned that, though we possess both considerable powers and even greater intelligence, the Err-tith of this land are sadly lacking in that application which you have anointed as wisdom. We have lived an existence removed from causal effects, absent of physical consequence and hence, lacking in understanding. While such things are, directly, forever beyond our kin, those held in high favor amoung you have shown us the value of vicarious transience. We would, therefore, enter into an agreement between our peoples to achieve wisdom to compliment our existent prowess. From the Speaking, the Err-tith have been a servant people and we have come to learn the wisdom of this decision by the first singers even though we have moved beyond these constraints. Never again will we be used as weapons save by our own commitment and never in for the personal gain of another.

"We offer service, an exchange of knowledge for wisdom. To each who sits in high places, king or priest, lord or judge, to those who hold sway and rule over men by birth, choice, or sovereign right and to their families, we offer service. One from amoung the Err-tith shall come, to stand and to serve within your household, to advise and explain, to teach and to remember.

"This shall be our price: the pursuit of truth, the desire of wisdom. Those who accept of our instruction shall commit to the understanding and finding of that which is both true and that which is wise that we may, in time, elevate all to a status worth of the Vision. We shall go only where invited and shall remain only where welcome save where our own interests should conflict.

"In addition, those who shall set forth and make, of their own free will, the pilgrimage to the holy city shall, after appropriate fasting and demonstrations of piety, be granted admission. All this is the will of the Reverend Mother."

(Several hours later, it is confirmed by external sources that the city of Annaeyana no longer fills the sky above the Oracle.)
