Hi to everyone again.. After a LOOONG period of away time, i'm back :) how is everything going. Been toying with the idea of transferring the Elyria idea to a different ruleset (Lords of the earth) but nothing has come of that yet... anyway. Hi to all once more, hope to be able to join in again soon :) Ken Crowe. ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send mail to celandra-off@phoenyx.net.

As a current player in Elyria, I'd have to say, I'd object to Eric, the current GM, changing the rules to those for "Lords of the Earth", I really don't want to have to convert all the stuff for my society (Republic of Nomia) to another Rule Set. If you want to run a "Lords of the Earth" campaign set in Elyria, I'm not stopping you, only from changing the current Elyria participated in here from the current. Maybe those who want to use the other rules can find a historical splinter (the Death of the Sorcer seems like a convinient point), and none of the societies with players are in the extreme East of the continent. ===== Proffesor S. oops.. sorry for the confusion.. i have absolutely no power over the current gms. Elyria etc will be going along exactly as they have been, i was just coming back as i've been toying with the idea of "porting" the world and history of elyria into the LOTE rulset, and to play a "variant" version... ie from some point in the past... i would probably start somewhere way before the sorceror actually. and would definetly take a more "magic-lite" version of the whole thing. just wondering what people's opinions are on this good idea, don't really care, catastrophy???
