Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

[Qai] Fudge points

If you look at the web site, you'll notice that I have granted Ibrahim 2
fudge points for
the two finely written action interpretations (which succeeded to be
valid, even if the
action results were not known beforehand).

Bob, could you update the "missing years" description: I would like to
put it on the web site,
and give you a fudge point for it :)

Rollin, the same thing for you, if you could write a shortish
summary/description of the
death of Argigax, and what followed after that, I'd be grateful (and
would give a fudge point).

Joel: the DL for action submission is approaching...

4 Ibrir, 1436- The Longest Night in Taltheran

Agrigax lies very still in the candlelight bath around
him. His breathing becomes very slow and methodical
and his two sons gather close to hear what the dying
king will say. "To my first born son I give you the
crown you've so desperately wanted for so long. All
that I as is that you rule with just authorithy.Hecht
I knew as soon as you decided to join the military
that you had no want for the crown. I ask that you
safe guard the crown and let no one destroy what our
proud family has created. These are the wishes of a
dying man, king, and father. Now go..."

After the king's death Hecht follows his brother
into his room and proceeds to kill him. Hecht takes
his father's wishes literally for it was known to both
he and Salokin that the soon to be king would give the
Merchants' Council their beloved constitution. This
act would destroy the kingdom in the eyes of Hecht so
he did what he had to to keep his word he left his
father. The morning after the death of the king and
his first son, Salokin declares himself Czar of
Taltheran. Hecht becomes the first general and
continues to safe guard the crown just like he
promised his father.

Let me know if you need it to be more detailed in
respect to the Merchants' Council influence in these
happenings.

                     Rollin

Hey : )

I must protest! Both accounts were based not on my actions, but those involving other countries (Cedonian contact with Kaeir), or were preludes/introductions that did not imply any success or not (the Taltherani request for help, as an example). so the result did not matter, as I was writing the origins of the actions, not their consequences.

True enough :-) Still, nice pieces, I thought, and they kind of fit in
to those actions.
Anyway, if anybody would like to correct their stuff, and perhaps move
those
descriptions elsewhere, all you have to do is register to the TWiki at
Phoenyx, and
edit the pages. Go ahead and try.

On the Twiki stuff, its quite cool.

I've been wasting an hour fiddling around with the Kaeirean section, updating the description and adding some pics.

Great! This is exactly what was the problem when I was running Elyria
game a few years back:
if anything needed to be changed (on the website), it was invariably me
who had to do it =>
a lot more work than simply being the GM. I really hope that other
players also take
a look at TWiki. Of course, it's not obligatory...

That would be appreciated, yes. The Merchants' Council is
the viewpoint that is currently still kind of missing.

Sorry, I am aware of the deadline. I have some ideas running around in my head but real life is busy and I am down to one computer at home and my fiance is on most of the time.

I'll do some stuff on paper and get it out as soon as I can.

I am seriously considering throwing all my actions into the rescue so I apologize to anyone other folks I was supposed to coordinate this turn but I would hate to blow this action if I take it.
