It's true that the formula I used to estimate population doesn't
account for food from fishing. The population given is a
self-sufficient population, one that's not importing food.

True, & IIRC I did mention that I hadn't included the annexed
territory. Largely because I'm not sure how much you annexed, and where
you annexed it.

Some of that increase for Port Kaeir would just be redistribution of
existing population, but you're right.

That gives you a population density of 150 people per square mile on
the Islands. At that density, the Islands are almost certainly require
food to be imported, probably from northern Tirmar.
