*** Official Notice of the Office of the Consul of the Green Republic of 
Kaeir ***

REGARDING:    State Funeral of Lord Osric van Basiluddin (ret.).

It is the wish of the Green Republic of Kaeir to let it be known that 
the former leader of Kaeir and national hero, Lord Osric van Basiluddin, 
has died in Saltrim from fever.

As such, an official mourning period of one month has been declared in 
all territories of the Republic of Kaeir.  Foreign diplomatic 
representatives are requested to respect local Kaeirean customs during 
this period.

Kaeirean state and commercial offices however will remain open.

Places of leisure and refreshment will close by the first watch (9pm), 
except where special permission has been granted by the Office of the 
Inquisitor.  Places of entertainment such as theatres will close at sundown.

Each nation that holds Kaeir as a friend has been requested to send a 
representative to the state funeral of Lord Osric Basiluddin.  The state 
funeral will be held within the week, weather and travel from Saltrim 
permitting.
