Subject: New FUDGE dice product(s)

Okay, first off, the colored FUDGE dice have arrived, and they're really
nifty! :-)

I'll be posting info on pricing etc. on the fudgerpg.com site later.

While I was at Koplow Games picking up the dice (usually I let them deliver
them but I decided I wanted to see the warehouse since it's only 20 minutes
away) I inquired about better packaging for FUDGE dice. We looked at lots of
different tubes and boxes, but none would conveniently hold 20 dice (a GM's
pack). We talked about using other multiples of 4, but then Jim Koplow came
up with what I think might be a great idea:

FUDGE dice bags. Small dice bags (easily holding 20 FUDGE dice plus a few
more) in dark chocolate brown with the words "Just FUDGE it!" printed on them.

I'll be getting a price quote from Koplow in a few days. In the meantime I
wanted some feedback on whether y'all think this is a good idea or not.

1) Would you buy a dice bag that said "Just FUDGE it!" on it? If so, how much
would you be willing to pay? (The bag, flattened, measures 4.5" tall x 3.75"
wide; it's dark brown, velvety, with a drawstring.)

2) Would you buy a dice bag that said "Just FUDGE it!" on it *and* contained
20 FUDGE dice? If so, how much would you be willing to pay? (Starting with
the release of colored FUDGE dice -- i.e. now -- the GM's pack of 20 will
retail for $12.95.) Would the colors of the dice inside matter to you? (In
other words, would you prefer a "rainbow" set of 4 dice each of the 5 colors
available? or 20 dice all one color? or what?)

Thanks in advance for "playing" this little survey game.... :-)

Best regards,

1 I don't know how much dice bags cost in general, as I don't usually buy them. WhytCrow 1999-12-28 01:30:14

4 Hi, Just an empty dice bag doesn't really appeal to me, though I might buy one as part of the GM's dice pack. StevenjHammond 1999-12-28 13:09:27
