
Not quite the same, but last year in a halloween COC game, I contacted one of the players ahead of time and arranged with him to be the first victim, told him up front why I was doing it. That got things off on the right foot for the game. I've also used the old Paranoia trick of handing out notes to everyone in the room which say "Look at Bob and smile real big when I say NOW" & giving Bob a note which says "Look around the room when I say NOW and tell me who's the commie mutant traitor."
