Kidnapping story plot idea

I was thinking of running a short game with a time limit of a couple of
adventures. The scenario (in a WoD using Mortal+, Mage and Werewolf).

The kidnapper will be keeping the child in a dark dank room. He's seen those
TV shows with psychics in it, so he doesn't want to lead a psychic to his
house! *grin*

What I'd like to know is some ideas for helping players track the kidnapper.
He used a bit of a disguise to grab the kid but has no way to block
Psychometry/Magick/Gifts (though he is keeping the kid in the dark room
thinking it will keep him safe).

If the time limit isn't met, the child will die. Then it's a plot of
avenging the child. ;)
