Well there is the Stone of Destiny as far as legendary Items go. And interesting enough it is a real object that you could find and
look at if you knew where the Scottish Kings used to be crowned. They had to sit on it when they were crowned king.

Returned to Scotland a couple of years back, after being kept in
Westmister for several years.

I believe its finally resting in Edinburgh, after a few centuries under the
cornation throne of England. It was moved sometime in the last year or so
(any Brits who can fill in the blanks here?). AKA Stone of Scone, I think.

p.s. we could be talking about different stones...indeed, I could be talking
about different stones above...I just got up and don't have books near me :)

Curses and Cures

Well, today's AD&D game proved rather... amusing and fun-filled. The group
found out one of the NPCs is a half-demon half-human (an Alu-fiend). And
half the group was Dominated to try and fight her. ;)

Someone hired a demonic critter to force Janelle (the NPC) to swallow a pill
that would seal her power away. In essence trapping her in the form of an
ordinary human. :) (This also caused a major argument within the party as
the person who was dominated into forcing the pill down Janelle's throat
tried to lie about it and not admit what had been done. The party leader was
mad not because of what happened. But because the person lied about it.)

The force behind the sealing of Janelle's power isn't done yet. My next
curse to put against Janelle is something from Star Trek Voyager, when they
separated the half Klingon into a human and a Klingon self. :) Janelle will
be cursed and separated into two people - her true-blood demon, and her
pure-blood human. The human will be vastly weakened and slowly start to die
without the demonic blood to help empower her. The demonic form will not
want to return to the human form, which she considers weak.

My problem? How do you reintegrate the two? It will end with Janelle
regaining her power (when they kill the Master who is behind the Binding
spell) but it will also end with her regaining her heritage - being
half-demon. What I want to figure out is how to remerge the two. Any ideas?
:)

Rob
