This group does seem to thrive when being adversarial.
I was amazed how many msg. I had with the same subject!
The olden days were before I joined the list. Some of the best threads now seem to be born out of a flamewar.
{sand by for bitch}
Although, I wish once they get WAY off topic they would change the subj line. So I can delete the stuff if I get tired of it.
(I read it this time, kinda like a traffic accident! Ya gotta take a peek.)

Changing the subject line is something that might or might not happen.
*Asking* people to change the subject line here is *dangerous*. There
is just too much membership overlap between here and the
scary.devil.monastary. (And if you don't know that last reference,
don't ask. Just cruise usenet looking for a group whose intials are
the same, but ROT-13'ed.)

You know, just after I posted that, I knew it didn't work right and wondered who would catch it first. I figured it would be Karen, with you in second place. There is a newsgroup referred to as scary.devil.monastary but that is not based off of a ROT-13 of the group's initials. I'm not sure why at the time of my first post my brain miss-fired and I said that. And I was sure you would know of it, as you'd fit right in there. The froup is often also known as a.s.r (the correct initials). -- Michael Feldhusen mike_f@io.com http://www.io.com/~mike_f/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- GMAST Home Page: http://www.phoenyx.net/gmast/

Of course, now everyone who doesn't know what you're talking about is curious, and could get themselves into trouble by searching for more information. -Bill Trouble, here I come. Figured it was some obscure fidonet.q-something.zealot group, in typical groupname redundancy. I don't do usenet. Drop in now and again to remind myself why not. Same with gmast, except I drop in whenever Silver pipes one of my crackpot threads here.
