GMAST anti-moderator is a big loon

Okay...so you know how you start off working on something, get really excited, then make a stupid mistake when you weren't paying attention.

Well, I can fall prey to that just as easily as anyone, as I have today come to realize.

To subscribe to the listserv, send e-mail to majordomo@scifi-rpgs.com...I got that part right...with
the body text reading:

subscribe gmast_site13

Not, as I said previously, "gmast-site13."

Apologies...I'm going to find a rock to stick my head under.

GMAST anti-moderator is a big loon

Heh. FWIW, from our discussions about what to call various jobs
around the Phoenyx, "manager" seems to be a slightly better term
than "moderator," which was the term we used to use for all
listowners once we decided to stop calling them "lists" (since that
doesn't make sense when some of your people are reading via web
and aren't *on* a "mailing list"). We ended up with people sending
garbage to various groups and then saying "I figured it was okay
since if it wasn't on topic the moderator would stop it." (Obviously,
these are people who didn't consider how the moderator, if he was
really approving *everything*, managed to approve things within
seconds, day and night.) But anyway. Manager, or "technical
manager," seems to be the best term we can come up with.
