Holiday breaks

Well, it sounds like everyone's taking a holiday break from here. How
about from your games?

We play every other Sunday, and our last game fell on Christmas Day.
Fortunately for our schedule, all involved had the 26th off, so we just
bumped it by a day. Unfortunately for our schedule (Christmas *and*
gaming), Carl was sick as a dog all weekend so we actually ended up
playing board games instead. It's especially awkward since we ended up
stopping mid-scene, so our poor heroes are stuck in the middle of a raging
apartment fire for a month.

With two of them buried under rubble, to boot. :)

No sense being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

I can beat that with Mark "L'Ange" Baker's game at Gypsycon last Easter.
He left us on a cliffhanger ending, and we have to wait a whole *year*
with half the party just having been sucked into an alternate dimension.

Well, if we're talking *conventions*, then there's a half-finished Star
Warsoid game from the last Gathering, which has been *more* than a year.

I believe that one will have to stay half-finished.

Proper pacing is my biggest problem with games.

Mine too. Gavilan will have a 24-hour turn requirement (though probably
only five days per week).
