Which, for a dumb beast, has picked as its prime target the one member of the group most dangerous to the alien. Realizing that his dartgun, while hurting the beast, it isn't doing enough
damage to stop the enraged beast, Ryzar holsters the weapon.
"Flame take this Beast!" Ryzar grumbles, as he draws his wide-bladed short
sword, and moves to (hopefully) attack the creature before it can reach Reylorna.

He will fire again, but taking more care with his aim if he can.
