[Reylorna and whoever else follows] It's now dark, the area lit only the moon, and by the flickering flames of the monster's funeral pyre. The castle is completely unlit, much as might be expected when nobody's left alive. "What parts of the castle have you searched, Reylorna", asks Verthes. "Did you just investigate the tower, or did you search any of the cellars and outbuildings? My guess is that's where any survivors might be hiding. That was where we... we...." His voice trails off. -- Tim Hall, timjh (at) csi.com * http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/timjh/prphotos.htm
[Reylorna] "We searched the main tower and looked around inside the gate area." Nodding to his suggestions "the out buildings sound as good an area as possible. Are there any laterns handy?" She tried to remember if she had seen laterns inside the main castle, though honestly she had been preoccupied and hadn't been looking. -Sean
"Lanterns?", he says, "Yes, there are some stored all over the place. What about the gatehouse? Anything up there?" He points at the looming gatehouse, scene of the first deadly mental battle. -- Tim Hall, Timjh (at) csi.com * http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/timjh/cat.htm

[Reylorna] "I didn't go up, but my companions stated there wasn't much up there. It was about then that we had our first run in with the creature." She didn't say more, though her visage spoke volumes. -Sean
