I got this, but that's all I've had in a week or so too. Quiet List Syndrome
I think!

[OOC: I haven't received any postings at work or at home in more than
a week. Do I have technical difficulties -- i.e., messages boinging
still? I will interpret the lack of a response as a big fat "yes."]

[OOC: Thanks for the clarification. I will fix the portioning of my
brain.]
[Reylorna]
Finally wondering what was taking so long, she wandered up to see what
was going on.
"Though I agree with Duplar, I think that his words are harsh. We did
what we must to make sure that it wouldn't happen again. We honestly
didn't know what we were up against, but it was clear there was
something very wrong here." She hoped her words would soften any
expected feelings. They didn't need any further difficulties, too many
people had already been hurt by that thing.

OOC: I got it, too, but I'm just waiting on a confirmation that Ryzar has finished "treating" the wounded Kandar, before he moves on to the one up abouve. [OOC: I've pored over the archives, and I can't see any of the GM's
descriptions of Verthes that paint him as particularly old. Is he in
fact elderly, or what?
Also, I'm amenable to a "jump cut" until whenever the GM feels is
appropriate -- we actually encounter another survivor, or maybe the
next morning, whatever.
If given an opportunity, Dharak will talk privately with Ryzar or
Reylorna, just to get to know them better. Ryzar's otherness intrigues
him, as does Reylorna's membership in the Academy.
He's pretty much made up his mind to return to Calbeyn with the
company, if they'll have him. He'll declare this if anyone asks.]

"Of course." Ryzar agrees -- deferentially, "I will see to getting the
injured men to the Main Keep."
Ryzar bows his head, again, as he takes his leave of Reylorna. He then
looks up the MageGuard, Verthes.
"We are setting up camp, for tonight, in the Main Hall of the Keep."
Ryzar says, looking up(?) at the elderly Kandar, "There are two of your
fellows, up in the Gatehouse that I need your assistance with. One is
concious, but I'm sure he'd like to see a friendly face. The other is still
unconscious, and I will need your assistance to carry him to the Main Hall."
"Please come with me." Ryzar finishes, as he turns to head for the narrow
stair, leading to the upper levels of the Gatehouse.

[I thought he was middle-aged sort of thing, rather than doddery]
Jal helps out where he can, clearing spaces for the wounded to be lain down,
and helping Ryzar with fortifying the Great hall so there are nice clear
views through the doorways and plenty of cover near where the night will be
spent.
He also examines the collective provisions, to see whether there's any
chance of a decent meal.
"Verthes?" he calls, "where's the food store for this place?"
