Jorg and Kylar carry the wounded kandar from the battlements is carried to the relative security of the main hall. The man is still deeply unconscious, but his condition seems to be more stable than it was. The main hall isn't a very pleasant sight, with it's shattered and charred furniture, but it's relatively secure. "We should search the keep for survivors tonight", Kylar says, addressing Jorg and Verthes in particular. "You two know the layout of the place. We've only done the tower and this hall; what's elsewhere?" "Kitchens and stores down below", Verthes replies, "Wizard's private chambers above us". Jorg winces at those last words. Kylar turns to the others [*] "OK, a couple of us stay here to watch over this fellow, the rest form a search party". * * * * * Meanwhile Ryzar and Reylorna examine the other man in the gatehouse. He's awake, but not very coherent, and very afraid. "Head hurts", he mumbles, "So much darkness. Madness and death. Madness and death". OOC: Really? I remember Ryzar asked Reylorna where she wanted to set up
camp -- which was in the Main Hall.... and I remember Ryzar asking Verthes
-- who I thought was older than he apparently is -- if he would go get the
conscious Mageguard, thinking that a "friendly face" would be better for
that task, and bring him to the Main Hall... And I then remember Ryzar
asking for someone to go help him bring down the unconscious Mageguard from
the battlements -- the implication being that he would be brought to the
"campsite", i.e., the Main Hall...

"I have been at the Calbeyn Academy for a couple of years. A human apprentice isn't something that they advertise. They are very understanding and elightened folk."
