[Distribution - all list subscribers on the kalyr list, plus all KLR players. Apologies to those KLRites already on the list who will get this twice] I have set up three subtopics on the list. kalyr+calbeyn@phoenyx.net - this is the existing game which has been running on this list for the past year. I'm going to restart game posts today - I appreciate your patience. kalyr+filgeth@phoenyx.net - this is for the game being transferred from Compuserve (KLR) This will be up and running once I have persuaded the all players to transfer over. kalyr+chat@phoenyx.net - this is for OOC discussions not directly related to the game. Note that you can subscribe or unsubscribe to individial subtopics, either by email or by the web interface. The Phoenyx/Firehawk help pages on http://www.phoenyx.net/help explain how to do this. These subtopics are not final. I may set up additional subtopics in the future - in particular I may further subdivide +filgeth, since the PCs are currently separated. I will make an announcement when I do this. Some rules I'd like people to follow from now on. 1) When posting a game move, *Always* reply to the existing mail, don't forward. This will ensure your post goes to the correct subtopic. I, as the GM, should be the only person starting new threads on the two IC topics. Also, when replying, never, ever change the subject line - some mailers rely on this for threading! 2) Please trim your quotes! By default, most mailers include the whole text of the original message in the reply. Trim the quoted text to just a couple of lines, just enough to place your own responses in context. And don't quote other people's .sigs - that's pure wasted bandwidth! 3) Can everyone who uses a .sig put a delimiter of two dashes "--" as the first line of the .sig. (Look at mine, or Daniel's (Argus) or Karens). Some of the fiendish message-processing stuff the Phoenyx are implementing relies on this. -- Tim Hall, timjh (at) compuserve.com * http://www.kalyr.com "Divide by cucumber error: Please reinstall universe and reboot"
