Kalyr is set in my original fantasy world of Kalyr, and focuses on the struggle between the ancient and decadent kandar civilisation, and their rebellious human slaves. It features psionics, arcane technology, strange alien races, mystery and intrigue. Influences include Gene Wolfe & Jack Vance, but don't let that put you off!

Kalyr [Admin] - roll call and recruitment

3 things:

1) I'm going to start a new 'on the trail' thread the next couple of
days - we can continue with any pre-departure conversations in
'timeslip mode'

2) We haven't heard from Duplar or Dharak for a while. You guys still
around?

3) I'm prepared to consider applications for one or two new players at
this point. A 'native guide' would be a good PC choice here. I would
also consider proposals for players to take over existing NPCs,
especially Kylar the soldier.

Still here! I've been so busy over the past few days - I have had a backlog
of email. All weekend went on a concert with BY Senior
(http://www.byc.co.uk/pma.htm) and much of my weekday time goes on Opera -
(htt:p://www.hloc.org.uk) - Ruddygore goes into its show week soon.

Those wanting to know a bit more about Kylar when he was a PC might care to
read some ancient tales of Calbeyn at
http://village.vossnet.co.uk/c/conteck/kalyr.

Kalyr [Admin] - roll call and recruitment

[OOC]
Sorry about that. As Papillon would say, I'm still here. I've been kind of
waiting for us to get 'on the trail,' as you say. Let's rock.

Question: Will NPC Jorg be coming along, or staying at the castle? Ukarlyn?
Verthes? I wouldn't mind getting a roll call from the GM once the reconstituted
scouting party gets moving.

He was a cool dude. A new player to do him justice would be good.

Actually I'm Old Adam Goodheart.

(I might be Gideon Crawle as well - be we haven't decided that.)

I was in a school Julius C once and we all had about nine parts.
Hysterical. Not that I can act, either!
