I was acturally refering to the frequently ommited second verse of the opening song of Act II in which Old Adam changes his name to Gideon Crawle. Interestingly enough that while the verse was cut from the song almost at once, the correcton was not made to the lib until the most recent edition. Thus in the lib Sir Ruthven Murgatroid starts calling Old Adam by the name of Gideon Crawle for no readilly apparent reason - becasue the song in which the name changes is not there....
