Kalyr is set in my original fantasy world of Kalyr, and focuses on the struggle between the ancient and decadent kandar civilisation, and their rebellious human slaves. It features psionics, arcane technology, strange alien races, mystery and intrigue. Influences include Gene Wolfe & Jack Vance, but don't let that put you off!

Kalyr OOC - Posting format and other topics

As you have probably noticed, I've started making my GM postings in a
slightly different format - I'm now incorporating the player's posts
into my replies rather than selectively quoting. This means it should
be possible to follow the story just by reading the GM posts, since
all the players postings get incorporated into those.

Any feedback on this? Anybody feel this is a really *bad* idea?

Secondly, I'm considering reintroducing sub-topics, one for the
original party (Jal, Reylorna, Duplar, Ryzar, Dharak), and one for the
new group (Gerryn, Rotemdol and Zul). This will give players the
option of seeing only the posts for the party their PC is acutally in,
without having their inbox filled up with postings for the other game.

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Vince thinks this looks good. Vince supports this format, and Vince will therefore vote for it, in the Congress.

Vince also supports this motion, as an excellent boost for the economy -- it means Vince will have less work to do, deleting unwanted Threads from his mailbox; and that's economical for Vince.

I love it.

Personally I like seeing everything that's going on in the world.

I am enjoying it because all the information is in one place. I used to
keep all the messages in my inbox until I had replied. Now I can read yours
and get them all together. Great!

It works for me either way. I have the delete key and I know how to use it.
And if it is in place, I will only get what I want, which is good too.
