Moderation problems still

I still can't post to Westwind. I get a message saying my post is going
to be moderated - but now the moderation messages aren't going to me.
Another player trying to post has the same problem.

Yeah, the config file bug is back, and with a vengeance.  It ate the
westwind config file completely.

I'm continuing to bash my head into a brick wall on this one.

Moderation

For those of you who don't check the listowners page on a daily basis
checking for changes (what?  You don't *all* do so?) I did go ahead and
create a moderation page.

Actually, the how-to-pass-through-messages part of moderation is still on
the main index page, and this one (they point to each other) is the
how-to-define-who-gets-moderated page.

While you're running around the listowners page, by all means make use of
the group configurator to set your numoderate setting.  You'll thank
yourself when the next screaming, profanity-spewing idjit posts a barrage
of "GET ME OFF THIS LIST" messages and they all get held for moderation.

You can also use the wonderful web editor at

to put a file named "apnd" in your files/ subdirectory.

is a nice example of something that will shut up the majority of the
idjits.  Not all, of course, since some people are too stupid to read to
the end of messages... but you could always create a file named pfix that
would put it right up front...

Moderation

This looks like a neat idea. There's plenty of ways to set up a list for
different purposes. I'll think about whether I should do this. Westwind
is a pretty low-volume list, though, and the default hasn't caused me
too much trouble.
