What It Does
Certain subscribers can be designated as "players," by assigning them a character.This command also sets the languages the character speaks, for use by pbemtools.
How to Use It
"characters groupname" will return the current list of characters, in the format:
>>>> char testlist Characters: bob - bob@phoenyx.net Last posted: N/A Status: silver - silver@phoenyx.net Last posted: Tue, 26 Oct 1999 10:55:34 cdt Status: active"character groupname character name" will return the same thing, for one character only."character groupname character name address language (language..." will set up a new character, or override an existing one.
If a player leaves, the special address "npc" should be used to override the setting.
The command can be abbreviated to the shortest possible unique setting - at present, "CH". Anything shorter than "CHAR" is deprecated, however.
